Here’s a quick primer on our upcoming series on runner’s high (3 min trailer):
CALL FOR PARTICIPANTS! Dispatch Radio seeks participants in Colorado for a short-term (July through September) research project and podcast documentary series focused on “runner’s high,” the naturally occurring feeling of effortlessness some people experience while running.

To be eligible you must:
- Have an interest in the topic of runner’s high. For example, you may have never experienced runner’s high but want to, or you may have experienced runner’s high and want to know more about what causes it.
- Be available to for group interviews in Boulder in July/August and mid/late September (in person strongly preferred; remote option may be available); and
- Be willing to share your experience for the benefit of others. You may be asked to keep a simple journal and record short audio notes during the project.
- All participants receive an entry to the Crested Butts Ultra (55k or 105k) if they wish to use it (not required to participate).
-Citizen science/research being conducted in partnership with James Ripley, a certified Awakened Mind™ Meditation & Brainwave Training Practitioner & Trainer. James creates guided meditation programs that give others the opportunity to develop greater awareness of their own mind-body connection.
